Bishop - Dock Sud

I got this cute little thing in my blogbox from Bishop originating from Buenos Aires. Dock Sud is a concept album which takes you back to future year 2072 (who said the world is gonna end in 2012?). I hear excellent computer programming simulating live recorded instruments, i like. Nice soundscapes combining classic ambient with spheric rock or coldwave as Bishop describes it. The album will release in feb 2012 but you can have a sneak preview below. Serious artwork too. You also can listen to his earlier work here, still i expect something intensive from Dock Sud. Got me flashbacking to the Blade Runner movie which I do not dislike.

Shackleton - Blood On My Hands (Ricardo Villalobos Apocalypso Now Mix)

In fact i should have posted this first and then the Pinch and Shackleton review below but hey just turn your screen upside down and you'll all be fine. Dance with the owls! Recommended on acid. Or on juno.

Pinch & Shackleton - album review

Back on track with a blessing from two dubstep heavyweights going darkstep. Pinch is mostly known from his LP Underwater Dancehall already released on his own label Tectonic back in 2007 while Shackleton (founder of the former Skull Disco label) has a few more mordant tracks up his sleeve as well as his Three EP's release. No heavy bass drops on this collab but crafty beats and noises melted with percussion finesse. I guess the future is moving on into the apocalyptic year 2012, so don't be afraid in bringing Bristol's finest under the Christmas tree. Works on any present occasion i guess especially for yourself to keep. Tested on vinyl only, but also available on digital intercourses at the known monopolistic mp3 sites or at their original meacenas for this album, honest jon's records. Cheers mate.

The Party - Introducing the general

This is the first of movies relating to my universe I want you and espacially me to be introduced to. My favorite choice of therapy. Relax and have a chair, not peace of mind. It is a party after all. And maybe on our national telly soon, jolly. I worked for this with Chris Willemsen, a great actor and Karl Mechnig a great artist. Camerawork and editing done by Peter Claessens. Big thx to all.

Introducing Aeronaut

Aeronaut (Jef De Corte) is a man of many talents with benchmarks all over the world. Nowadays he spends most of his time as a freelancer on making licensed illustrations and graphical designs for various of companies such as Disney. But if time is on his side he makes music and likes to share that with the rest of the world. So why not have a listen to the universe he puts in your ears? His most recent work “Requiem For The Faithless” contains beautiful sacral compositions to comfort the faithless people searching for their personal GOD nowhere to be found. He was inspired by a radio show of his friend Arol Wulf of which he took extracts to be used as glue for the orchestra playing on the cliffs of disbelieve. Have a visit to his myspace too. You can also download more music for free at his official website here. Not for commercial use of course.
This is and happens to stay an ambient music blog so I will only cover his music, but feel free to pay a visit to his website to learn more about the artist’s life and work at http://www.aeronaut.be.
Also if you want to stay on tune with aeronaut subscribe to his newsletter helping you to bare the long long cold winter lying ahead.

Gas0095 - amazing stuff

Microscopic is available for free download @ http://www.microscopics.co.uk/ or directly through this link. It is a extract from Mat Jarvis his full album gas0095 to be found on itunes.
Very nice critics from DJ magazine, Ambient Music Guide etc. Indeed a must have i would say if deep space traveling means anything to you. I like it very much by the way.

Feel free to listen and preserve. Helow...

David Firth - Salad Fingers

Now this is not new I know but it is timeless and time to share it on my blog. Meet saladfingers and enquire very disturbing but genious shit. The video is by David Firth, who also produces many other twisted stories you can find here or on youtube. Music is by the Boards Of Canada which rectifies this video to be on this blog. enjoy

Bathroom music

I don't mean the title to be offensive. I like relaxing in the bathtub with some good ambient music coming out of my cheap radio speakers. Again I will not play any ambient music with dolphins on the cover but the following link has some good ambient vibes and thx to the creative commons license for all of us to enjoy for free. You can have a listen of course in all other dry circumstances. For relaxing times here you grab; Megatone – Anthology [SLNT007] or visit and listen online: Silent Flow Netlabel

Cosmic Spring

Now I'm not always into trippy ambient aka trance reminding me of several too colorful evenings. However these guys: Cosmic Spring collective could be an exception to my self made up rule that every ambient CD with a dolphin on it scares the living shit out of me. They surprised me and made me swim together with the jellyfish which earn as much respect in ambient music as dolphins do. Even more their music is free downloadable, grab it here. Enjoy the jellyfish dance. Yet again a hidden pearl at the bottom of the electronic ocean. Eat their shorts chemical brothers.

Cupboard replacement by Music AutOmatiK

I got this as a banner on my myspace page. Normally I don't check those things but hey what if I did. I was hesitating at a first listening, but somehow the music pulled me over to put it on my quality only premium ambient blog. No I'm not modest, just honest. So about Music AutOmatiK with their release 'Cupboard Replacement' just grab it while you can as I will not provide a backup. It is pretty interesting music, kept me listening all four songs and has enough twists to keep your ears spinnin'. Quality stuff. What really convinced me was the combination with the great videos, they mean business check it out:

Back on track

I had to travel to distant galaxies for a while therefore the blog wasn't updated for some time. SO back on track now. Please enjoy the site and stay tuned for quality control only and if blessed with exclusive on this blog only music from artists that release electronic souls towards your greedy algoritmic audible orifices. Today a fine clip I found on youtube by a fan of Chris Clark. The song is entitled 'Night Knuckles' taken from the great album 'Body Riddle' on the holy Warp-label. Hope you don't mind Clark we put this online, but again your work is genious and a great inspiration. Enjoy, again.

Mystified - In a Haze

Really liked these tunes from Mystified. Their EP is called In a Haze as the title of one of the songs. Very enjoyable dark and minimal. Have a listen to one of the songs or download the whole shabang here .

Amazingflyingcat - Dream Travelers

I got this mystery track in the soundcloudbox. It has something of an ending theme of a final fantasy game. An innocent sweet little track to share with all of you. Enjoy.

Meta Program

Let's meet Meta Program. Their myspace may be only three months old but the music on it sounds like many years of musical experiences and nifty sound engineering capabilities. I wonder if there is a code hidden in the songs names existing of digits only. Quality stuff. Have a listen and stare...
