Amazingflyingcat - Dream Travelers

I got this mystery track in the soundcloudbox. It has something of an ending theme of a final fantasy game. An innocent sweet little track to share with all of you. Enjoy.

Meta Program

Let's meet Meta Program. Their myspace may be only three months old but the music on it sounds like many years of musical experiences and nifty sound engineering capabilities. I wonder if there is a code hidden in the songs names existing of digits only. Quality stuff. Have a listen and stare...

NK - Nino Lo Bue "Sleeep Spindles"

51beats releases a beautiful record from Nino Lo Bue. He's from Palermo and started in 2008 the NK project with the aim of combining the electronic and post rock of the north European mold. NK is an experimental music project that combines melody and noise, creating atmospheres that evolve dynamically, using keyboards, laptop, acoustics and electric guitars and Kaoss Pad. I'm very impressed with his sounds creating an unique warm feeling. He says he wanted to know how dreams would sound like and gave it a consience of its own. You can download each track seperately at their site our grab the album here. Great stuff.
Tracklist:
1. G - dreamy, as my beautiful angel who inspired it
2. Bending Inertia (asleep) - a long journey inside the sleep
3. Cat&Wo - featuring the beautiful voice of Marcella Giuffrè, and the beautiful words of Paul Verlaine
4. Empty Thoughts - nothing to say, just play
5. Dreyma (awake) – featuring con_cetta autogenerative processes; obstreperous and even soft dreaming song
6. Deep Night – when the night became dark and the night terrors occurs “looping” until awakening

Bombay Dub Orchestra free track

Like the Beatles used to be for a period they’re a blend of England and India which should taste something like a plum pudding with spicy curry on it. Indeed the sound is fresh yet surprisingly traditionally using authentic eastern instruments played by a full Indian orchestra combined with western tonalities. Electronica fills the gaps and moves this music right into the 21th century where it is there to stay. Have a listen to their free track “Journey” or have a look and listen on their myspace for more info on the other tracks of their new album “3 Cities”, Six Degrees Records.

DropouT Telephone Station Breakdown

The Quietzone netlabel releases new stuff from DropouT called "Telephone Station Breakdown". In fact it is one long musicfile filled with dreamy tunes layered on noise. If you're in to a little trancy noisy journey grab the file here.

I never saw this compilation footage from David Lynch before so have a look if you're a fan. Interesting stuff.

AIR new single for free

I do not have the intention to become a commercial oriented blog however when AIR is giving away their new single I should make a small exception. Just fill in your name and e-mail at their homepage or click on this to avoid getting spammed by AIR unless you want to of course. The Mp3-file is set to 160kbps not to spoil us too much :). Their full album is released October 2009.

Drewzle

I found this guy on youtube tweaking with his Roland SP-404 creating some nice atmospheres using only a relative small set of samples. Looking further into his soundcloud page I was even more surprised to find very decent trip-hop ambient stuff which reminds me of DJ Food's early work. He's got skills that's for sure. I put his latest track on the blog which has a real good catchy groove. If you like it you can grab more of his work collected here. Meet (Dizzy) Drewzle!

ProF debut EP: "Superorganism"

Professor Fingers or in short “ProF” has his debut EP ready with 5&1/4records. Very interesting is that he uses his turntable as an instrument. Although rhythmically much of the sound can be classified as “trip hop”, or “experimental” sometimes there is no better word to describe it than “turntable music”. With over 10 years behind him, ProF a.k.a Professor Fingers, is helping to define the future of Turntable music. As a member of renowned turntablist act iNSiDEaMiND, ProF (born Cheldon Paterson ) is definitely no stranger to bending minds. Having shared the stage with artists such as Daedelus, D-Styles, Dj Food, A Trak, Moonstarr, Laura Barrett, Ghislain Poirier, Edan and Kid Koala among others, ProF uses vinyl and finely tuned turntable skills as a main ingredient to create live on the spot compositions. Having fun is the key ingredient, taking ProF to a diverse variety of events including the Vans Warped tour, World Wide Short Film festival, Low End Theory (L.A), Nuite Blanch, San Francisco Asian Arts Museum and many other amazing productions; ProF continues to wow audiences with every twist & turn and it's only the beginning. Have a visit on his myspace to learn more about him. You can grab his EP here for free or order it to get all the extra's here. Only 250 copies are available so be quick if you want to support this artist! The purchase comes in a cool old school floppy disk and has bonus material not available through free download. Let's put the needle on the record!

Intelligent Machinery a Dark Ambient Community

Intelligent Machinery is a more than a netlabel. They rather form a small community with a fantastic archiveof sound tools, videos, free mp3s and informative articles. So Intelligent Machinery wants to take it more low profile gathering kindered spirits who made the site grow over the years from 2001 to 2009. Check out their website so you know what they are all about. However the site will not be updated any more as te webmaster is taking a break until further notice. So what you see is what you get :). I put here a video from there site. It's a live set from Gabriel Ingram for the 434noise Noise fest in which we can observe interesting tools he uses to create his sounds.
